How the HI-NEW-TEX Inflation System Works

The HI-NEW-TEX airframe uses multiple inflatable beams connected through an integrated air-distribution network. The system is designed to make inflation simple without sacrificing chamber independence after setup.

Step 1: Connect and Inflate

Attach a supported pump to the primary inflation point. Air then moves through the connected tubing system to fill the structural beams, eliminating the need to inflate each beam separately.

Step 2: Isolate the Chambers

Once the required pressure is reached, close the chamber control valves. The individual air chambers can then retain pressure independently.

Step 3: Secure the Shelter

Stake the tent and tension the guylines according to the terrain and weather conditions.

For deflation, reopen the chamber system so air can move through the connected network and exit efficiently through the large release valve.


Two-Function Valve Design

The airframe system uses valves designed to support both inflation and pack-down.

One-Way Inflation Function

The one-way mechanism allows air to enter while helping prevent immediate pressure loss when the pump is disconnected.

Large-Opening Deflation Function

The wider release opening allows a larger volume of air to escape, reducing the time required to deflate, fold, and store the shelter.

This dual-function design keeps the inflation process controlled while making pack-down faster and less cumbersome.
